Formerly Woodlay Arabians, World renowned for breeding and showing top class black Arabian horses both Nationally and throughout Europe with great success for nearly 30 years - including being World Top 10 at the World Championships in Paris.

Glasses Farm dates from 1540 and is situated in the glorious Exmoor National Park in Somerset in the beautiful south west of England.

Time catches up with us all and while we aren't ready for "retirement" quite yet we don't want the work and battle of big horses any more – so now we have found a new love and a new adventure in breeding and showing American Miniature Horses. Obviously with our strong Arabian background we have chosen to breed American Miniature Horses of Arabian type.

In 2007 we toured the USA and purchased our foundation stock, and we are very excited about the future of Glasses Farm.

We have decided to keep only a small select number of horses concentrating on quality rather than quantity and aim to breed a maximum of three foals a year, offering one or two for sale.

All our breeding stock has been chosen carefully and imported directly from the USA.

We have two stallions: LM IDOLS ON THE PROWL is a gorgeous 32.5” palomino Supreme Champion show stallion by the world renowned FIRST KNIGHTS BILLY IDOL. “TP” is totally correct, wonderful limbs, smooth body and Arabian type.

SEAHORSE GOLD MELODY GRAND BUCKAROO is a lovely little 30.5” golden buckskin stallion who is Champion both in the USA and in the UK with the most extreme Arabian head with the biggest eyes imaginable and “Roopert” sires predominantly fillies – all with his amazing type.

We think these stallions will complement each other beautifully and hopefully pass on all that we require in our American Minis, extreme Arabian heads with huge eyes, length of neck, flat level topline and high tail set, coupled of course with wonderful conformation, movement and a lovely easy people friendly disposition.

Both of these stallion are extremely easy, kind and friendly and have fabulous personalities.
